We are thrilled to announce the launch of our Referral Program, which we know our customers are just as excited about as we are! Our Referral Program is something a bit different to what you are typically used to. We invite our customers to play a game with us — refer a friend and earn up to 1,000 YLD each!
The best thing is, there is no time limit on how long your referred friend can take to accumulate the assets required to qualify for the referral bonus. We know that not everyone will have the cash to hand straight away, so we’re happy to wait until your friend is ready. You can invite as many friends as you like, so what are you waiting for? Read on to find out all the details of our brand new Referral Program.
How does it work?
All of our existing customers can now refer their friends using their personal referral link, QR code or referral code. Once referred, your friend must reach Silver Tier or higher (meaning they have staked or locked 1,000 YLD or more on the Yield App platform) and deploy $1,000 or equivalent for 30 consecutive days. You and your friend will then receive your rewards on day 31!
Rules to unlock rewards:
- Invite a friend to register on Yield App via your personal referral link, QR code or user referral code. These can be found under Settings → My referrals.
- Once your friend has registered, they must complete KYC level 2.
- They must reach Silver Tier level (or higher) and deploy $1,000 (or equivalent) into any portfolio(s) on the Yield App platform for 30 consecutive days.
How much can you win?
Referral rewards range from 100 YLD to 1,000 YLD, and both you and your friend will be paid the same reward once the above conditions have been met. Your reward will be randomly selected and paid out on the 31st day.
The fine print
You can refer as many friends as you like — but they must be a new Yield App customer and each individual can only ever use one referral code. Referred customers must be Silver Tier and maintain an allocation of $1,000 (or equivalent) in a Yield App portfolio of their choice for 30 consecutive days.
Please note, both of these conditions must be maintained for 30 days in a row for the customer to qualify. So if you deploy $1,000 on day 1, but only become Silver Tier on day 15, you will need to wait 30 days from the moment you become Silver Tier to qualify for the reward.
The $1,000 in total assets can be distributed across any Yield App portfolios or deployed into just one portfolio — it is entirely up to the new customer. If the value of their assets happens to drop below $1,000 by the end of this period, there is no need to worry. It is only the initial value at the beginning of the period that counts.
However, if the new customer withdraws assets from their portfolio(s) at any point so that the total value of deployed assets drops below $1,000, the 30-day countdown will stop and begin again from day 1 as soon as the $1,000 total is deployed into Yield App portfolio(s) once again.
The 30-day countdown begins from the first full day (UTC 00:00 to UTC 24:00). All referral rewards will be settled at UTC 00:00 the following day and will be posted to both accounts within 24 hours after settlement.
